Your Impact
You will provide expert guidance to Swiss and international clients on customs and trade regulations across Switzerland, the EU, and the US. This includes matters related to classification, valuation, origin, preferential trade agreements, and export controls and sanctions.
Your role will involve developing innovative solutions to complex customs-related challenges, addressing issues such as customs audits, investigations, and disputes.
You will assist both the team and clients in comprehending how customs and trade laws impact their business operations and supply chains. You'll also have the opportunity to engage with clients, local and foreign Customs Authorities, as well as Customs, Trade, and VAT experts from our extensive international PwC network.
Your place of work will be within our VAT and Customs team located in Zurich, where you will actively participate in advancing our indirect tax practice.
Your Skill Set
- A degree in accounting, economics, business, law, or a similar field related to International Customs and Trade.
- A strong interest in customs and trade.
- Fluency in English is essential, along with proficiency in German, French, or Italian.
- 2 - 3 years of consulting experience within the customs and trade sector.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills paired with a consulting and team-oriented mindset.
- A commitment to take responsibility for your projects and a dedication to continuously improving our service offerings.
