Responsibilities

- Trading agricultural commodities derivatives across CME/CBOT, ICE, BMF, and other global exchanges.
- Focus on outright, spreads, options, freight, and cross-market arbitrage opportunities across grains, oilseeds, and vegetable oils.
- Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies using fundamental Supply & Demand analysis, positioning data, and physical market intelligence.
- Manage risk and portfolio exposure effectively.
- Analyze global agricultural markets, including corn, soybean oil, canola oil, wheat, meal, and related products.
- Contribute to the development of market views, analytics, and trading frameworks across the broader agricultural platform.
- Support and mentor junior traders and analysts within a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Strong academic credentials with an outstanding track record of commercial performance over at least 10 years.
  • Extensive experience trading agricultural commodities across futures, options, and freight markets.
  • Proven track record of generating PnL across proprietary and commercial trading books.
  • Strong understanding of global agricultural trade flows, fundamental analysis, and risk management.
  • Experience managing complex portfolios across physical and financial markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and execute relative value and arbitrage opportunities across international markets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and succinctly.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and analytical tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative global team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Commitment to maintaining high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
