Our team consists of 280 talented individuals across Europe, with over 200 based at our headquarters in Yverdon-les-Bains.
Position Overview
To strengthen our Sales team in Central Switzerland (Bern region) and support our growth, we are seeking a dedicated Sales Representative - Orthopedics. In this role, you will play a crucial part in promoting our products and delivering technical support to develop sales and increase Symbios’ market share in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the products and provide technical support to develop sales and enhance market share in central Switzerland / Bern region.
- Offer technical and commercial assistance in operating rooms.
- Promote the use of Symbios products by prospecting, visiting customers, and presenting product offerings.
- Retain existing customers while acquiring new ones and ensuring that sales objectives are achieved.
- Actively contribute to the follow-up and implementation of the commercial strategy.
- Manage administrative tasks related to operations efficiently.
- Gather information on market trends and present it in a structured manner.
- Forward all customer orders to the company promptly.
- Strictly adhere to the company’s pricing, discounts, general sales conditions, and any changes introduced by the company.
- Keep the company regularly and consistently informed about the progress of assigned tasks.
Desired Profile
- An entrepreneurial, motivated, and enthusiastic personality.
- At least 5 years of sales experience, with a strong background in the operating room environment.
- Clinical/technical knowledge of hip and knee products is advantageous.
- A strategic thinker with a structured approach to understanding complex technical systems.
- Proficient in standard IT tools.
- Enjoys interactions with people, possesses natural empathy, and approaches work in a solution- and customer-oriented way.
- Demonstrates a capacity to work autonomously, with the adaptability required to handle daily unforeseen situations.
- A native German speaker with a good command of English (minimum B2 level); knowledge of French is an asset.
