Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Representative for our orthopaedics business in the Ticino area. As a specialist with a strong sales mindset, you will be the key point of contact for orthopaedic surgeons, OR managers, and operating room staff in hospitals and clinics. You will coordinate and ensure the effective application of our high-quality, innovative products. Additionally, you will proactively identify new business opportunities, drive their execution, and manage corresponding sales projects within your territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive sales and product advice in the clinical field of orthopaedics and joint reconstruction.
• Plan and organize your field service activities systematically.
• Build long-term relationships with physicians, operating room staff, buyers, and other decision-makers.
• Strengthen existing product lines and introduce product innovations.
• Drive market adoption of VELYS™ Robotics and other enabling technologies through customer engagement, clinical support, and business development activities.
• Organize and implement training events (workshops, customer training) for medical professionals.
• Achieve general and specific sales targets in terms of market penetration and sales.
• Develop and implement sales and action plans in collaboration with the sales manager.
• Represent the business unit at congresses.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical device sector.
• Strong sales-driven mindset with excellent execution skills and a professional presence.
• High customer orientation and results-driven personality.
• Robust negotiation skills and confidence in closing deals.
• Self-motivated, determined, and eager to perform.
• Strong communication and persuasion abilities.
• High flexibility and willingness to travel within your region.
• Creative and open to change.
• Independent, dynamic, resilient, and entrepreneurial personality.
• Fluent in Italian (mandatory), with proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
