The Development Economics Group (DEC) at ETH Zurich is committed to conducting empirical economics research aimed at informing effective policies to reduce global poverty and inequality. Our mission is to develop social innovations that address these pressing global challenges through empirical and experimental economic research.
We are currently offering a research assistant position in Development Economics. The starting date is September 1, 2026, for a period of six months with monthly compensation.
This position is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable research experience between completing a Master's degree and entering a Ph.D. program.
We are a diverse, international team of motivated economists and data scientists dedicated to analyzing global inequalities and contributing to solutions for global development. Our research group is closely affiliated with NADEL, a multidisciplinary team focused on educating future decision-makers for global cooperation and development.
