Job Opportunity: Reinsurance Manager
We are seeking a talented and motivated Reinsurance Manager to join our Group Reinsurance team. This role will focus on the Specialty Lines of Business and requires a strong analytical background.
What to Expect
- Cross-border collaboration with all Business Units within the group.
- Establishing and managing the Reinsurance needs of the Business Unit while overseeing the respective Lines of Business on the outward side.
- Acting as a bridge between partners to facilitate data delivery, analytics, actuarial functions, accounting, and claims.
We Expect
- A university degree in business, insurance, actuarial science, or computer science.
- Ideally several years of experience in a similar role; however, strong candidates with the potential to quickly adapt will also be considered.
- Responsibility for the Specialty Lines of Business, including Marine, Bond, Fine Art, and Cyber.
- Participation in a small team, taking on deputization responsibilities for other Lines of Business.
- Hands-on experience in establishing processes and systems within a (re)insurance company.
- The ability to coordinate activities among various internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in analytics and presentation skills to various stakeholders.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building capabilities, accompanied by entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
- The ability to operate under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- A self-driven professional with a structured and quality-focused mindset.
- Business proficiency in English, and ideally, also German.
