Job Opportunity: Reinsurance Manager
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Reinsurance Manager to join our Group Reinsurance team. This position will focus on our Specialty Lines of Business and requires a strong analytical background.
What to Expect
- Cross-border collaboration with all Business Units of the group
- Managing and fulfilling the Reinsurance needs of the Business Unit while overseeing respective Lines of Business on the outward side
- Acting as a bridge between partners, data delivery, analytics, actuarial, accounting, and claims
What We Expect
- A university degree in business, insurance, actuarial science, or computer science
- Ideally, several years of experience in a similar role; highly qualified candidates with the potential to grow into the role will also be considered
- Accountability for the Specialty Lines of Business: Marine, Bond, Fine Art, and Cyber
- Willingness to be part of a small team and take on deputization responsibilities for other Lines of Business
- Hands-on experience in establishing processes and systems within a (re)insurance company
- Ability to coordinate activities among various internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capable of creating analytical presentations for diverse stakeholders
- Networking and relationship-building abilities, along with entrepreneurial and commercial thinking
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities
- A self-driven professional with a structured and quality-focused mindset
- Business proficiency in English, and ideally also German
