Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting reinsurance pricing activities, including discussions with reinsurers and negotiating reinsurance terms.
- Building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including reinsurance counterparties.
- Collaborating with the Chief Actuary, BPA Pricing team, and Head of Reporting to design, administer, and report capital-efficient solutions that effectively manage key risks, including longevity, lapse, and mortality.
- Implementing and overseeing operational aspects of reinsurance treaties, including collateral, administration arrangements, and reporting solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Qualified Actuary or nearly qualified, with a view of qualifying in the short term.
- Experience working within Pricing, Actuarial, or reporting functions of a UK Life assurer or in a reinsurer pricing or administration function.
- Experience managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of DB pensions and longevity swaps.
