Are you passionate about technology that serves as the backbone of the rail sector? Do you thrive on resolving malfunctions in machinery and installations, ensuring seamless operations in the workshop? If you are seeking a position in a small, highly skilled team where you can exert significant responsibility and influence, this opportunity could be for you.
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician in Electrical Engineering to join an international leader in rail infrastructure. This organization provides essential support for large rail projects through materials, logistics, and technical services. Based in Hilversum, they ensure optimal functioning of machinery and installations, and your role will be crucial: without well-functioning machines, everything halts.
This position is less focused on outdoor and malfunction-driven tasks compared to field service roles but offers equally challenging technical responsibilities. You will be concentrating on maintaining and enhancing a diverse fleet of machines, where electrical engineering, control, and mechanics intersect. Collaborating closely with a small team will allow you considerable autonomy in addressing technical challenges.
This role stands out due to the integration of electrical engineering, control, and mechanics. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of machines where no two days are alike. You can influence how malfunctions are resolved and how processes are enhanced.
We understand that this is not a conventional position, and we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all qualifications but possess a solid technical foundation and are motivated to grow. Interested?
