Position Overview

As a Project Bad Zurzach Tool and Equipment Engineer, you will be part of the Production Support team. You will be the leading person in equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement. This role allows you to build specialized know-how in specific processes and respective equipment, adding value by improving process efficiency through both technological advancements and classical LEAN tools.

Your Tasks

  • Provide administration and supervision of external partners on-site.
  • Create and maintain:
    • Calibration instructions
    • Process maps
    • Technical templates (Process Parameter Sheets, Machine Setup, etc.)
    • Work instructions
    • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Dossiers
    • TTE (Tool and Test Equipment equivalency documentation according to Arinc 668 standard)
    • GEM (Ground Equipment Manuals)
    • SAP equipment database (ZITOOL)
  • Implement LEAN by executing 5S, Kanban, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Execute simple mechanical and manufacturing tasks.
  • Design and modify equipment that is not COTS (commercial off-the-shelf).
  • Promote research and development for supported processes.
  • Assure cost reduction of supported processes through automation and other efficiency improvements.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, aviation, or equivalent.
  • Working experience in the aerospace industry or equivalent industrial environment.
  • MRO and/or Engine knowledge is desired.
  • Experience in design and drawing of components with CAD, preferably with Fusion 360.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and SAP.
  • Fluent in German (Level C1) and English (Level B2).
