As a Project Bad Zurzach Tool and Equipment Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Production Support team. You will lead the equipment maintenance and repair efforts, as well as oversee replacements. This role allows you to build specialized know-how in specific processes and related equipment, adding value by enhancing process efficiency through technological advancements and classical LEAN methodologies.

Your Tasks

• Provide administration and supervision of external partners on-site.
• Create and maintain:
  • Calibration instructions
  • Process maps
  • Technical templates (Process Parameter Sheets, Machine Setups, etc.)
  • Work instructions
  • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Dossiers
  • TTE (Tool and Test Equipment equivalency documentation according to ARINC 668 standard)
  • GEM (Ground Equipment Manuals)
  • SAP equipment database (ZITOOL)
• Implement LEAN methodologies by executing 5S, Kanban, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Execute simple mechanical and manufacturing tasks.
• Design and modify equipment that is not commercially off-the-shelf (COTS).
• Promote research & development for supported processes.
• Assure cost reduction of supported processes through automation and other efficiency improvements.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, aviation, or a related field.
• Working experience in the aerospace industry or an equivalent industrial environment.
• MRO and/or Engine knowledge is desirable.
• Experience in designing and drafting components using CAD; familiarity with Fusion 360 is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and SAP.
• Fluent in German (Level C1) and English (Level B2).
