Position Overview

As a Project Bad Zurzach Tool and Equipment Engineer, you will be part of the Production Support team. You will take the lead in equipment maintenance and repair, as well as replacements. Your expertise in a defined field will enable you to build specialized know-how for specific processes and their respective equipment. This role adds value by improving process efficiency both technologically and through classical LEAN tools.

Your Tasks

• Provide administration and supervision of external partners on site.
• Create and maintain:
  • Calibration instructions
  • Process maps
  • Technical templates (Process Parameter Sheets, Machine Setup, etc.)
  • Work instructions
  • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Dossiers
  • TTE (Tool and Test Equipment equivalency documentation according to ARINC 668 standard)
  • GEM (Ground Equipment Manuals)
  • SAP equipment database (ZITOOL)
• Implement LEAN by executing 5S, Kanban, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Execute simple mechanical and manufacturing tasks.
• Design and modify non-COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) equipment.
• Promote research & development for supported processes.
• Assure cost reduction of supported processes through automation and other efficiency improvements.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, aviation, or a related field.
• Working experience in the aerospace industry or equivalent industrial environment.
• MRO and/or Engine know-how is desired.
• Experience in the design and drawing of components with CAD; experience with Fusion 360 is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and SAP.
• Fluent in German (Level C1) and English (Level B2).
