About the Business Unit
The Business Unit Process Analytics specializes in the development, production, and distribution of cutting-edge process measurement technology, catering to customers in the biopharmaceutical, chemical, and brewing industries. Our product portfolio includes sensors for critical process parameters such as pH value, oxygen levels, and cell density measurement—key factors in biological processes, distinguished by their innovative technology on a global scale.
How You Can Make a Difference
Your Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the product portfolio throughout its entire lifecycle, from concept to phase-out.
- Derive market and customer needs, translating them into clear product requirements and strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, and Support teams to ensure product success.
- Drive strategic development by identifying growth opportunities, technological trends, and new applications.
- Own the business case: conduct financial evaluations, define priorities, and support decision-making within portfolio and roadmap planning.
- Represent the portfolio in internal committees as well as externally with customers and business partners.
What You Bring Along
Your Qualifications:
- Several years of Product Management experience, ideally within the Biopharma/Biotech sector or with technical and regulated products.
- Proven track record in portfolio management and product strategy formulation.
- Degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field; additional knowledge in business administration or marketing is a strong plus.
- Strong customer focus and willingness to travel (approximately 30%).
- Solid technical understanding with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
- High level of responsibility, structured work approach, and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and aligning diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with regulatory requirements is an advantage.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
