Your Mission
As the Market Segment Manager - Chemical Process Analytics, you will spearhead our strategic growth within the chemical industry. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the market's needs, trends, and dynamics, and ensure that Hamilton's solutions align with these demands. Your market expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and strategic vision will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business unit.
Your Responsibilities
- Market Development & Expansion: Analyze the chemical process industry, identify market opportunities, and develop strategies to drive growth and market penetration.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and execute go-to-market plans, including positioning, value proposition, and portfolio strategy.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert (SME) for the chemical process analytics market, representing Hamilton at industry events, conferences, and key accounts.
- Market Research & Trend Analysis: Initiate and manage market research activities to identify trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments.
- Product & Innovation Strategy: Translate market requirements into actionable insights for product development and portfolio evolution.
- Networking & Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, thought leaders, and strategic partners to enhance market adoption.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, R&D, Product Management, Marketing, Production, and Customer Support to foster operational growth and ensure the successful execution of market strategies.
What You Bring Along
- A degree in chemical process engineering, process engineering, process analytics, industrial engineering, or a related field; an additional business degree or MBA is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, business development, or product management, preferably within the chemical or process industry.
- A proven track record of launching products or developing new market segments.
- A strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical skills with a solid understanding of market drivers, regulatory influences, and technology trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English is required; basic proficiency in German is desirable but not essential.
