Job Opportunity: Process Technician – Supply Management

Position Overview
We are seeking a Process Technician – Supply Management for a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension in Basel. This role involves executing assigned manufacturing tasks related to the manual packaging of clinical trial samples, ensuring timely production of quality products according to the applicable GMP, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Manual labeling and packaging of primary packaged medicines for clinical trials.
- Execution of all assigned activities as per the production plan and valid GMP, work, operational, environmental, and safety instructions.
- Timely and error-free preparation of batch documentation (integral to production).
- Participation in the maintenance of production area management (workplace cleaning, order, 5S, etc.).
- Compliance with health, safety, and environmental rules and guidelines (HSE).
- Application of current GMP regulations.
- Conducting process-related controls.
- Accurate documentation of activities performed, both on paper and in electronic batch records, in accordance with GMP regulations.
- Demonstrating a willingness for continuous improvement and analysis of weaknesses, proposing enhancement measures at the production site.
- Participation in all function-related training and maintaining required training status.
- Collaboration with other units and willingness to work in different areas as needed (e.g., primary packaging at facilities, warehouse operations, label printing).
Requirements
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship required.
- Experience in the GMP area and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
- Independent, communicative, and flexible personality with an accurate and reliable working style, even under time pressure.
- Team player with a positive team spirit.
- High sense of duty and diligence regarding documentation, order, and cleanliness at the workplace.
- Constructive working style, flexibility, and accountability for one’s own work with a deep understanding of quality.
- Strong self-motivation and quick comprehension to familiarize with new tasks.
- Fine motor skills and enjoyment of precise work.
- Proficiency in standard PC programs (MS Office); knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
- Good knowledge/experience in the GMP environment and/or hygiene-critical areas.
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written; proficiency in English is a plus.
