Job Description
The Performance Marketing Manager plays a central role within Group Marketing, collaborating with all SMG Swiss Marketplace Group AG business units and joining a team of digital and performance marketing experts.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and optimize the Search Engine Advertising efforts for various SMG brands.
- Collaborate with other digital marketing channels (Social ads, programmatic, display) and be ready to step in for other channels as needed.
- Drive performance by monitoring, analyzing, and recommending optimization and growth opportunities, maintaining a strong testing mindset.
- Challenge the status quo and actively contribute to optimizing processes and workflows.
- Work closely with our brands to achieve their marketing goals and implement digital marketing best practices.
- Engage with various marketing professionals, focusing on ad product & creative innovation, audience and data strategy, and measurement and attribution opportunities.
Qualifications
- Native German speaker and fluent in English (our business language).
- Over 6 years of experience across various digital channels, with a strong focus on Paid Search; experience in other digital marketing channels is a plus.
- Proven track record in Google Ads.
- Experience with the Google Marketing platform (SA360, DV360, CM360).
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and Google Tag Manager.
- Proficient in feed management tools, with strong Google Shopping experience.
- Adept at working with different stakeholders, demonstrating a service mindset, flexibility, and comfort with priority changes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent project management skills, highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or equivalent practical experience.
