Master Data Manager

Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, housing important research and development functions. For our long-term client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Kaiseraugst, we are seeking a talented Master Data Manager.

Background:

The Materials Management Organization is a crucial pillar within the site, encompassing the management of production planning, local procurement, materials planning, and master data. As a Master Data Manager, you will be part of a community that reports directly to the Unit Lead Master Data.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Work within a supply chain-driven make assess release process area, understanding technical connections and interdependencies to effectively combine changes and define the required steps for achieving them.
  • Develop a master data strategy focused on a fit-for-future framework, including standardization of systems, along with monitoring and maintenance of master data.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing lead time and enhancing data quality through standardization and automation (e.g., RPA), or through data/process improvements, including necessary data analytics.

Must Haves:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Master Data management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment with GxP experience.
  • Strong understanding of SAP master data maintenance processes, including S4 Hana and MDG-M.
  • Proficient in identifying, maintaining, and optimizing data and processes, including related documentation.
  • Fluency in German and English (Minimum C1 Level).
  • Ability to make timely decisions based on thorough analysis and assessment while demonstrating profound business insight.
  • Goal-oriented team player who thrives in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Effective communicator with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining constructive relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and team members.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and proactive, with a keen analytical approach.
