Master Data Manager

Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, housing significant research and development functions. We are seeking a talented individual for our long-term client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, located in Kaiseraugst.

Background:

The Materials Management Organization is a crucial component of the site, overseeing production planning, local procurement, materials planning, and master data management. As a Master Data Manager, you will be an integral part of the community and will report directly to the Unit Lead Master Data.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Work in a supply chain-driven make assess release process area, understanding technical connections and interdependencies to accommodate changes and define the required steps for implementation.
  • Develop a master data strategy focused on future-proofing master data, including system standardization and ongoing monitoring and maintenance.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing lead times and enhancing data quality through standardization, automation (e.g., RPA), and data/process improvements, along with associated data analytics.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Master Data, preferably in a pharmaceutical or other regulated environments with GxP experience.
  • Strong understanding of SAP master data maintenance processes (including S4 Hana, MDG-M).
  • Ability to identify, maintain, and optimize data and processes, along with the related documentation.
  • Fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level).
  • Proven ability to make timely decisions based on thorough analysis, demonstrating profound business insight.
  • Goal-oriented team player who thrives in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong customer focus and effective communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and analytical thinkers who adopt a smart approach to challenges.
