Our Swiss market-leading FSI Deal Transformation and Post-Merger Integration Team advises Swiss corporate and mid-market clients to generate and create value from their Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Carve-outs. With a dedicated team of FSI experts, we deliver integration and separation advisory services, leading complex engagements with our clients, and deploying deep functional expertise in finance, human resources, commercial, and technology.

At Deloitte, we support our clients with end-to-end M&A advisory, working closely with our colleagues from transaction services, valuations, and corporate finance. As part of the Strategy, Risk and Transactions Business Line, we further collaborate with our Strategy, Sustainability, Regulatory, and Forensics and Technology peers to ensure a seamless and value-driven approach to transactions.

How You Will Make an Impact

• M&A Integration and Separation Leadership: Bring a forward-looking approach and tailored methodologies to lead complex M&A separations and integrations.
• M&A Value Creation: Perform and oversee operational and financial analysis to assess synergies, impacts, complexities of carve-outs, and the potential for stand-alone performance improvement of buyouts and corporate divestments.
• Exceptional Client Service: Advise clients across Deloitte’s offerings, building and maintaining strong relationships while leading engagement teams to deliver exceptional client service, adhering to quality and robust methodology.
• C-suite Intimacy: Develop your ability to lead conversations with client CXOs, articulating ideas into tangible solutions, and becoming the client’s go-to contact for delivery transformation.
• Project Scope and Delivery: Define, plan, resource, and execute project scope; manage expectations and timelines with clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Team Leadership and Development: Inspire and guide team members to achieve their full potential, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence in project execution.
• Analytical and AI Solutions: Provide strategic insights and advice, deploying advanced analytical and AI solutions.

Who We Are Looking For

• Demonstrated FSI experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter attitude, and a high level of motivation to lead and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on strategic decision-making and attention to detail, alongside a proven ability to simplify complex concepts, create executive-level narratives, and synthesize value effectively.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from top-tier universities with exceptional academic marks.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant M&A experience in consulting or industry roles, with clear expertise in one of our main sectors, including banking, wealth management, or insurance.
• Strong acumen for project and stakeholder management, with high-quality skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and executive storytelling.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and a keen interest in embedding AI solutions into our offerings to enhance client outcomes and drive innovation.
• Fluent in English, with excellent interpersonal skills and experience working within an international community. Proficiency in German is desired.
