Job Description

We are seeking operatives to provide support for shifts in the manufacturing environment of large molecules MAB. The role focuses on downstream processing (DSP) and is scheduled to commence in May 2026, concluding by the end of the same year. The operators will work in a 6/4 shift model.

Background

The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational foundation in scientific or technical areas, such as pharmaceutical technology, biotechnology, or chemistry. Previous experience in the purification of large molecules or significant industry experience in related areas is preferred.

The Perfect Candidate

The perfect candidate will have:

  • A completed vocational training with a technical background, such as a chemical technician, bio/chemical technologist, laboratory technician, or in a comparable field. A qualification as a biotechnologist is highly advantageous.
  • Strong manual skills and a solid technical understanding.
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in pharmaceutical production or in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Fluency in German, both spoken and written (minimum level B2).
  • A willingness to perform physical tasks, particularly related to weighing processes and handling raw materials.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and with MES/PLS (electronic documentation systems), or the eagerness to learn these tools quickly.
  • A reliable and team-oriented approach, with a preference for working in a structured environment that promotes smooth and high-quality production operations.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Weighing of raw materials
  • Sampling
  • Laboratory work: Cell counts, pH testing, etc.
  • Supporting plant maintenance activities
  • Cleaning duties
  • Material management (local storage areas)

Must Haves

  • Minimum vocational degree with a technical background and manual skills. Ideally, a qualification as a Biotechnologist.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP production environment.
  • Physical work is required, particularly in supporting the weighing processes and handling of raw materials.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office and experience with MES/PLS (electronic documentation systems).
  • Fluent German (minimum B2) in both speaking and writing.
  • A commitment to teamwork.
