Job Opportunity: Senior Oracle DBA

As a Senior Oracle DBA at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will play a crucial role in the operations and support of our global Oracle environment. You will be responsible for ensuring a high-level storage service is provided to the Bank's critical applications.

Your Responsibilities

• Support operations by troubleshooting alongside incident management.
• Implement change requests (RFC) in accordance with existing procedures and protocols.
• Optimize resource utilization by analyzing and proposing improvements, considering the life-cycle management of hosted applications.
• Develop and implement automated solutions.
• Collaborate on the continuous development of existing infrastructure and actively support migration projects.
• Execute recovery exercises and troubleshoot issues in 2nd level support, including on-call service.

Your Profile

• Higher education (university/FH) in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• At least 7 years of practical experience in database operations and engineering.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and PostgreSQL is required.
• Experience with Ansible automation is a plus.
• Strong team player with the ability to recognize synergies.
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to take responsibility.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and a high level of accountability.
• Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus.
