Logistics Coordinator - Contract - Fort Worth

Proclinical is seeking a Logistics Analyst responsible for supporting transportation operations, carrier management, freight optimization, and overall transportation performance across the supply chain network.

Primary Responsibilities

This role serves as a vital link between carriers, distribution centers, customer service teams, and internal stakeholders to guarantee safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation services, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Logistics. The Logistics Analyst will assist with daily reporting needs, tariff cost entries, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Requirements

• Preferred experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or international settings.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is preferred.
• A high school diploma is required; a college degree is not mandatory.

Responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator

• Transportation Operations: Monitor shipment execution across all transportation modes.
• Carrier Management: Manage carrier scorecards focusing on service, cost, quality, and compliance metrics.
• Cost Management & Analytics: Monitor transportation spending, analyze freight data, accessorial charges, and assess network efficiencies.
• Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the Inbound Trade Compliance Lead and Outbound Performance Lead. Assist with transportation-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives, and train team members on transportation procedures, KPIs, and best practices.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Support audit requirements and maintain transportation documentation standards. Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence.
