Your Daily Responsibilities
You will engage in the following:
- Designing and developing LLM and Agentic AI solutions, including chatbots, RAG applications, and complex agents that orchestrate tools, APIs, and data sources independently.
- Translating business requirements into robust LLM architectures, focusing on prompting strategies, retrieval design, context management, guardrails, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Building end-to-end Agentic AI use cases through data and tool integration, orchestrated workflows, and production-ready services.
- Working with current frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, Haystack, and various vector databases.
- Integrating LLM and agent services into existing systems as microservices or API layers embedded in BI, CRM, or data platforms.
- Applying modern engineering practices, including Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure secure, version-controlled, and scalable LLM applications.
- Establishing "LLMOps" for evaluation, prompt and model versioning, observability, cost control, and continuous improvement.
- Staying updated with new models, frameworks, and best practices in the LLM and Agentic AI ecosystem, and sharing your knowledge with the team.
Your Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong Python skills and experience with modern AI/ML libraries.
- Practical experience with LLMs, including platforms like OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, or other local/open-source models.
- Experience developing LLM-based applications such as chatbots, RAG apps, or automated assistants.
- Knowledge of building retrieval solutions, including vector databases and chunking strategies.
- A solid understanding of software engineering principles, with experience in production-ready code and API/microservice architectures.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in relation to AI/LLM or ML workloads.
- The ability to engage and inspire others about AI while communicating challenges clearly and appreciatively, in both German and English.
