The IT Service Group (ISGINF) acts as the internal IT service provider for the Department of Computer Science at ETH Zurich, a leading academic institution renowned for excellence in research and teaching. To strengthen our team, we are seeking a Linux System Engineer (80%-100%) to start immediately or by agreement.
Our nine-member team manages the department’s IT infrastructure, tailor-made for the needs of professorships and research groups. Together with researchers, we continuously develop our systems and applications, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies.
In this diverse role, you will enjoy a high degree of personal responsibility while actively shaping innovative solutions. Your tasks and responsibilities will include the design, implementation, introduction, and support of systems and services based on Linux.
Your first concrete task will be to take over and rebuild our GitLab-based version control and DevOps platform for the department.
