Position Overview
As a Supervisor within the engine shop operational organization, you will oversee the Disassembly, Assembly, and Inspection Area for LEAP engines. Your responsibilities will include leading and onboarding staff, developing, implementing, and managing processes, and coordinating projects to achieve the organization’s goals and targets.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the assigned team in a multicultural environment.
- Assign work assignments and plan resources according to workload while monitoring work efficiency.
- Assist in defining shop layout and coordinate the implementation of equipment, tools, and workspaces.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring the implementation of necessary improvements and corrective actions.
- Participate in interviews for candidates during the selection process (technicians and administrative personnel).
- Coordinate all necessary arrangements for the admission process, including SRT card, uniform, training program, tooling car, and integration on the shop floor.
- Manage On-the-Job Training, qualification, and certification processes, providing feedback on technicians' overall performance.
- Assist in defining the training plan and coordinate its implementation.
- Identify and develop a supervisory deputy as part of the phase-out/phase-in process to ensure job continuity.
- Define and ensure adherence to the 5S standard.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and related activities.
- Implement the Performance Management Process (PMP) and actively motivate employees.
Your Profile
- 4 years of technical apprenticeship.
- Experience in Engine MRO.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial manufacturing with demonstrated management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in English (minimum B2 level).
- Willingness to work in two shifts.
- Strong operational knowledge and understanding of higher correlations.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of employees.
- Desire to educate and train individuals in the relevant field.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of independence, self-initiation, and a commitment to performance.
- Good IT knowledge, including SAP R/3.
- Knowledgeable and driven in the realm of continuous improvement.
