Position Overview

As a Lean CI Specialist - Engine Services, you will actively support the lean cultural change within designated business areas. The role involves facilitating and participating in the implementation of lean and continuous improvement initiatives that align with the area's objectives in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.

Your Tasks

• Continuously identify and reduce non-value-added activities, as well as safety, environmental, and health hazards in the business area by participating in go-look-learn/waste walks.
• Identify, facilitate, or participate in area improvement activities, projects, or workshops, such as:
  • 5S activities (workshops, audits, daily activities)
  • Standardization activities (process documentation, standard work definition)
  • Problem-solving (root cause analysis investigations)
  • Value stream mapping (workshops, action implementation)
• Share and implement best practices across business areas.
  • Gather area standards, improvement results, and best practices to share with the CI Manager and other CI Specialists.
• Theoretically and practically roll out, train, coach, and communicate standard lean CI tools and methodologies within their area.
  • Weekly communication of CI-related updates.
  • Explanation and guidance on the practical use of lean tools/methodologies.

Your Profile

• Degree in quality, process, or industrial engineering (Bachelor's in Engineering/Business/Economics is a plus).
• Lean CI qualification: Green Belt (or equivalent) required; Black Belt desired.
• Proven project management experience (certification is a plus).
• Experience: 2+ years in Lean CI, 2+ years in process management, and 1+ year in project management as a project lead.
• Background: 1+ year in a production/manufacturing environment (MRO experience is a plus).
• Languages: English B2 (C1 desired) and German C1.
• Strong facilitation/training mindset is an advantage (e.g., running workshops and coaching teams).
