Job Description: Indian Cuisine Chef

We are seeking a skilled Indian Cuisine Chef with extensive knowledge and experience in Tandoor and Curry preparation. Your expertise will contribute to delivering authentic Indian dishes that meet our restaurant's high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryani, dals, rice, naan, and starters.
  • Utilize Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques with proficiency.
  • Perform mise en place to ensure readiness for daily service.
  • Maintain consistent taste, quality, and presentation in all dishes served.
  • Comply with hygiene, food safety, and HACCP regulations.
  • Manage proper storage and handling of food in accordance with hygiene standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness and order in the kitchen work area.
  • Support menu planning and assist in daily kitchen operations.
  • Contribute to stock control and actively work to minimize food waste.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team during service.
  • Follow instructions from the Head Chef and management.
