WHAT WILL BE YOUR TASKS?
- Design mechanical principles and system architecture during the project upfront phase for Avionics or Electrical Engineering.
- Define mechanical interfaces with suppliers and ensure proper support and follow-up.
- Distribute and prioritize tasks and sub-projects among assigned staff based on manpower capacity, skill sets, and task constraints.
- Create engineering 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts, assembly, and installation, adhering to engineering design rules and processes.
- Motivate and guide assigned staff to achieve project goals related to schedule, quality, and cost.
- Ensure a design-to-weight and design-to-cost approach in compliance with project requirements.
- Address risk items immediately, identify project roadblocks, and resolve any discrepancies between executed activities and the customer’s scope.
- Perform rework (Revision, DS, Concession) on 3D parts, assembly drawings, and installation drawings.
- Prepare, check, and release certification and compliance documentation, and participate in or witness tests to produce corresponding reports as required.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU ⛳️
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
- Several years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or avionics engineering.
- Proficiency with CAE & CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Catia V5, Siemens NX, TeamCenter, etc.) and aviation standards.
- Strong communication skills and a positive team spirit.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Fluency in English (oral and written); proficiency in French and/or German is a plus.
