Job Opportunity: GTF Head of Operations

To strengthen our New Engines organization, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of GTF Operations to lead all operational activities related to the PW1100G-JM (GTF) engine. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day disassembly and assembly operations, from induction to release, while ensuring high performance in turnaround time (TAT), on-time delivery (OTD), and operational efficiency.

Your Tasks

• Oversee all PW1100G-JM disassembly and assembly operations, including managing Centres of Excellence (COEs) for backshop repairs.
• Ensure Turnaround Time (TAT) and On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets are consistently achieved.
• Implement best practices to maximize efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce operational costs.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of Trust, Accountability, and Teamwork.
• Ensure full compliance with SR Technics, OEM, and airworthiness authority standards and regulations.
• Promote a strong Safety and Quality Culture, ensuring all safety management elements are implemented and continuously improved.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Planning, Quality, HR, Parts Repair Operations) and the OEM network to align processes and ensure smooth operations.
• Support the expansion and industrialization of New Engine capabilities within SR Technics.

Your Profile

• Education: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 10+ years in MRO or production environments, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Background: Strong operational knowledge of engine or aircraft maintenance (EASA Part-145).
• Lean Mindset: Proven experience implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership, decision-making ability, and strong communication skills across all levels.
• Languages: Fluent in English (C1–C2); German is a strong advantage.
• Systems: Proficiency in ERP/SAP and MS Office tools.
