Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to head our Corporate Life & Pensions business globally. Reporting to the CEO of Life Protection, you will be accountable for end-to-end P&L and balance sheet performance across key business areas, while also driving growth in our domestic businesses around the globe. The primary focus will be on delivering profitable, sustainable growth through innovative customer propositions and excellence in distribution management.

What You Will Do

• Take full responsibility for P&L and balance sheet accountability for key businesses in Zurich’s global portfolio, aiming to drive profitable, sustainable growth through leading customer propositions and excellence in distribution management:
• ZGEBS – a top 3 Global Employee Benefits business
• International Markets business written out of Isle of Man with leading positions in key markets
• Zurich Eurolife (Luxembourg) – a leading provider of Employee Benefits solutions in Germany
• Drive profitable growth across Zurich’s wider CLP business globally in collaboration with local business units
• Develop and deploy global propositions, solutions, and tools into local markets in partnership with local businesses
• Manage and nurture global relationships with strategic partners, including Employee Benefits Consultants and Brokers, to drive positive customer outcomes and growth
• Oversee relationships with global strategic customers, working closely with Zurich’s Commercial Insurance team
• Promote thought leadership in Employee Benefits to enhance Zurich’s position as a global leader in this field
• Develop enhanced skills and capabilities in Employee Benefits for Zurich globally

What You Bring

• Extensive experience in the Life Insurance sector, specifically in Employee Benefits
• Proven success in driving profitable business growth and managing significant P&L responsibilities
• Strong ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders across a global organization
• Experience in setting long-term plans, strategies, and policies to achieve sustainable profitability and growth at country and segment levels
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams
