Key Responsibility Areas
- Lead a global team of category managers.
- Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Conduct spend analysis, market research, supplier assessments, and demand forecasting to inform strategy.
- Train and guide a global team on the Mediclinic Category Management methodology to ensure consistent global maturity.
- Lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, including market analysis, supplier identification, tendering, and contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, audits, and supplier development initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align specifications, requirements, and quality standards.
- Establish and lead Category Councils to support structured decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
- Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs to assess category performance and develop improvement measures.
Your Profile
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in strategic and operational procurement, including product and process standardization as well as supplier bundling in complex environments.
- Strong leadership background in corporate and international settings, including team management and performance coaching.
- Excellent negotiation skills and proven ability to drive change and deliver results.
- Forward-thinking, structured, and strong communication skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
