GNC Engineer Opportunity at Darwin Space

Darwin Space is currently seeking a talented GNC Engineer to join our team in Luxembourg.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience in GNC engineering.
• Master’s degree in Control Engineering, Space Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with lab-based system identification and characterization of real systems.
• Proficient across all phases of product development, from design to testing and validation.
• Experience with space projects and/or multi-disciplinary systems.
• Knowledge of embedded systems or real-time control.
• Proficient in MATLAB/ Simulink and scripting languages such as Python.
• Familiar with Linux-based environments or ability to quickly adapt.
• Adept in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams or ability to quickly adapt.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and high standards for task execution.
• Thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Produces well-structured, high-quality technical documentation.
• A reliable and enjoyable colleague to work with.
• Citizenship from a member state of both the EU and NATO.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and validate control systems for pointing, acquisition, and tracking.
• Perform system modelling, identification, and lab characterization of both hardware and software components.
• Collaborate and interface with multidisciplinary teams across hardware and software domains.
• Write and review technical documentation.
