GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician (M/W/D)
We are currently seeking a skilled GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician to become a valued member of our team!
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level and technically complex calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance (PM) with accurate GxP documentation, adhering to client-specific policies and procedures while ensuring safety.
- Provide guidance, direction, and effective solutions to clients and technical resources.
- Proactively ensure proper handling and maintenance of client-owned equipment and train associates on proper usage.
- Identify and initiate scope changes, effectively communicating with clients while processing change requests.
- Assess project safety concerns proactively, ensuring compliance with all client and/or site safety requirements.
- Strategically evaluate client environments and needs to develop effective solutions, establishing solid relationships to ensure successful execution.
- Understand and implement GMP and compliance practices related to client instrumentation needs.
- Develop functional instrument requirements and procure instruments for clients.
- Perform and oversee equipment services and instrument procurement while partnering with third-party technical services.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, Management Life Sciences, or a related technical field (or equivalent military training) with at least five years of extensive instrumentation experience in the Pharmaceutical/Quality industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in project management, consulting, supervision, and client relations is strongly preferred.
- Independently initiate instrument specifications, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in calibration and instrumentation within process and/or analytical service fields and serve as a technical advisor in various life science industries.
- Proficient knowledge and skills with incubators, centrifuges, balances, refrigerators and freezers, stability chambers, chromatography (HPLC or GC), spectrophotometers, and other general laboratory equipment.
- Fluent in English is mandatory; proficiency in German is a plus.
