Position Available: GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician (M/W/D)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated GMP Calibration Engineer/Technician to join our exceptional team! This position will play a vital role in ensuring our high standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-level and technically complex calibrations, qualifications, and PM’s, ensuring accurate and timely GxP documentation in compliance with client-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and effective solutions to clients and technical resources.
  • Ensure client-owned equipment is handled and maintained properly, including training other associates on proper usage and handling.
  • Identify and initiate scope changes, effectively communicating with clients while processing any scope change requests.
  • Assess project safety concerns proactively and ensure compliance with client and site safety requirements.
  • Evaluate client environments and needs to develop effective solutions through strong client relationships, ensuring successful execution.
  • Understand and execute GMP and compliance practices related to client instrumentation needs.
  • Develop functional instrument requirements and manage instrument procurement for clients.
  • Oversee equipment services and instrument procurement, collaborating with third-party technical services.

Requirements:

  • A Degree in Engineering, Management Life Sciences, or other related technical fields (or equivalent military training) along with five or more years of intensive instrumentation experience in the Pharmaceutical/Quality industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strongly preferred experience in project management, consulting, supervision, and client relations.
  • Ability to independently initiate instrument specifications, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in calibration and instrumentation within the process and/or analytical service fields, serving as a technical advisor in various life sciences industries.
  • Solid knowledge and proficiency with incubators, centrifuges, balances, refrigerators and freezers, stability chambers, chromatography (HPLC or GC), spectrophotometers, and other general laboratory equipment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German is a plus.
