Job Opportunity: FullStack Developer (m/f/d)
We are seeking a talented FullStack Developer (m/f/d) for our client in the public sector to contribute to an exciting project. This role involves replacing an existing mailing system with a new and innovative solution. You will develop software components designed to process and manage orders for cards and confidential letters within a mailing process. The emphasis of this position is on creating and maintaining modern full-stack software solutions utilizing a cloud-native technology stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in software development, including design, development, integration, and maintenance of modern IT applications based on cutting-edge technologies, employing either agile or traditional methodologies.
- Lead the new and ongoing development of front-end and back-end components for web applications, client-server solutions, and content management systems.
- Create simulators and case studies to support application development.
- Develop application software using Spring Boot alongside relational databases.
- Design, execute, and document developer testing including unit tests and component tests.
- Enhance and maintain tools for test automation, ensuring high-quality output.
- Develop and operate sophisticated full-stack software solutions based on a cloud-native technology stack.
- Build pipelines for Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery using GitLab.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Java, particularly from version 17 (minimum of 3 years experience).
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot (minimum of 3 years experience).
- Experience in developing REST APIs using Spring Boot (minimum of 3 years experience).
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and MS-SQL, including the design and optimization of database queries and schemas (minimum of 3 years experience).
- Experience with iText7+ or PdfBox 3 (minimum of 3 years across all references).
- ISTQB certification.
- Understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography (minimum of 3 years experience).
- Extensive experience with SOAP architecture and XML-based message formats (minimum of 3 years experience).
- Experience in implementing SOAP web services using Spring Boot and generating SOAP clients and servers from WSDL files (minimum of 3 years experience).
- Experience in developing graphical user interfaces with Vaadin (minimum of 3 years experience).
- Proficient with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker (minimum of 3 years experience).
