Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to oversee all kitchen operations within our hotel. This role is vital to ensuring smooth and flawless operations across various culinary areas, enhancing guest satisfaction and profitability through optimal resource management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen areas in the hotel, including:
    • À la carte restaurants
    • Bars
    • In-room dining
    • Breakfast
    • Banqueting and catering services
  • Achieve high guest satisfaction and profitability through optimal use of resources.
  • Implement hotel-specific quality standards and management requirements.
  • Ensure proper handling of machinery, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
  • Regularly inspect kitchens and storage areas.
  • Monitor production processes, methods, and conditions.
  • Maintain strict control over all food items issued to and from the kitchen.
  • Ensure all orders are prepared according to specifications.
  • Minimize food waste through proper portion and production control.
  • Create menus, including costing and calculations.
  • Maintain food cost percentages within budget.
  • Coordinate maintenance of kitchen equipment with the Facility Manager.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness in coordination with the Chef Steward.
