Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will develop deep expertise in Evatec products and become the go-to electrical expert. You will support product groups with technical challenges, collaborate closely with mechanics, software, and system engineering, and provide solutions for customers worldwide. Through your risk assessments and focus on standards and norms, you will ensure that our high-tech systems are safe and reliable in operation.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build know-how: Develop internal expertise and become the electrical expert for defined Evatec products.
- Provide technical support: Assist our product groups with specifications, root cause analyses, and challenging technical questions.
- Contribute as an expert: Bring your expertise into development, customer, and retrofit projects.
- Be the technical interface: Align closely with mechanics, software, and system engineering to develop optimal solutions for our customers.
- Ensure safety: Create risk assessments according to the Machinery Directive and enforce norms and standards with internal and external partners.
What You Should Bring
- Qualification: Completed an apprenticeship as an automation technician, electrical planner, or electrician (EFZ).
- Further education: Hold a technician HF degree in electrical or system engineering.
- Experience: Professional experience as an electrical planner or electrical engineer in an industrial environment.
- Technical know-how: Familiarity with electrical and pneumatic schematics and proficiency with EPlan.
- Languages: Fluent communication in German and English.
