Position: Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (DNPCA)
Main Responsibilities
- Establishment and follow-up of maintenance policies and programs, submission to FOCA for approval.
- Planning and monitoring Line and Base maintenance operations.
- Resource coordination for CAMO work programs through work planning and issuing work orders.
- Executing maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance contract.
- Conducting technical follow-up and analysis of Aircraft Technical Logs.
- Verification of work reports, technical records, and aircraft release to service from contracted organizations.
- Ensuring modifications and repairs are performed to an approved standard.
- Implementing and tracking Airworthiness Directives, while maintaining continuing airworthiness records.
- Adhering to the operator’s aircraft optional modification policy and managing defect rectification and follow-up of MEL/HIL.
- Monitoring and amending the CAME and proposing submissions to FOCA.
- Communicating with internal and external partners on matters as required by the Operator to strengthen customer relationships.
- Coordinating maintenance with contracted Part-145 and Flight Operations for all maintenance activities.
- Assisting the NPCA in the evaluation of ADs, SBs, and SILs.
- Executing "Aviation Design Project" orders as needed.
- Supporting the NPCA and Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) with internal audits and reviewing all CAMO processes in accordance with Part-145 maintenance providers’ MOE and CAME.
- Demonstrating the ability to navigate and comprehend company manuals, aircraft manufacturer manuals, and EASA regulations.
Requirements
- Ideally, previous experience in a similar position with at least 5 years in maintenance control activities; or 2 years in maintenance control activities, provided the candidate holds or has held:
- A maintenance certification license in category B1, B2, or C;
- Or a license that is equivalent to a license in category B1, B2, or C.
- Solid knowledge in the aviation field.
- Technical education is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with strong IT skills.
- Exceptional reputation with a clean criminal record & extract from the debt collection register certificates.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in German or other European languages is a plus.
- Strong management skills with natural leadership; reliability, accuracy, and a willingness to accept responsibility.
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland; established in Switzerland or willing to relocate to the Neuchâtel region.
