INTRODUCTION

BloomUp, in partnership with Re.Events, is excited to announce a position for a Data Manager Consultant to collaborate with a prominent international sports organization. This role will involve supporting the organization in defining and implementing a comprehensive data strategy and management framework for large-scale sports event operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Strategy Development: Implement comprehensive data strategies to enhance the organization and optimize operations for international sports events.
• Department Structure & Priorities: Refine the data department's role, organizational structure, and strategic priorities.
• Internal Communication & Engagement: Design and deploy communication materials and engagement frameworks to promote data initiatives across the organization.
• Project Acceleration: Lead various missions to expedite data team deliverables and ensure timely implementation.

SKILLS & EXPERTISE

• International Sports Operations Background: Proven experience in an international sports organization with a focus on data-driven operations for major sporting events.
• Deep Sports Event & Data Expertise: Strong understanding of the challenges in sports event management and the implications of data strategies at the operational level.
• Elite Tech Company Experience: Experience in data management and AI within leading technology companies such as Microsoft or Google.
• Senior Project Management: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in managing data, AI, and IT projects at a senior level.
• Mandarin Chinese Fluency: Native or bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, along with fluency in English, and strong work experience in China to facilitate collaboration with the client's partners.
• Sport Management Education: Master’s degree in Sports Management from a globally recognized program, with strong connections to international federations, Olympic bodies, or major sports events.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
