Job Opportunity: Cold Chain Project Coordinator

Location: Visp, Switzerland
Start Date: Immediately – Contract until 31.12.2026

Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients in both the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is seeking a qualified professional for the role of Cold Chain Project Coordinator – 7091. This role uniquely combines strong project coordination capabilities with specialized expertise in temperature-controlled supply chain processes, cold chain solutions, and compliant logistics operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and implementation of tailored Cold Chain solutions across the Supply Chain network, adapting responsibilities based on current business needs.
• Support the Supply Chain team in managing projects efficiently, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
• Prepare project proposals, timelines, and schedules for Cold Chain initiatives.
• Coordinate quality controls to ensure all deliverables meet specified requirements.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring deadlines are met and identifying any necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project status updates, organizing and participating in stakeholder and project team meetings.
• Analyze risks and opportunities related to temperature excursions, packaging concepts, transport lanes, storage conditions, and operational handovers.
• Collaborate closely with peers across the Supply Chain network and other stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

• Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience focusing on Cold Chain projects.
• Senior project management experience in quality remediation, compliance, or material management in a highly regulated GMP environment (Pharma, Biotech, or CDMO).
• A strong background in SAP Material Master, material classification, and supplier data collection (SDS / technical specifications), with hands-on experience in CAPA-like action tracking, quality systems, and audit readiness standards.
• Effective stakeholder management skills, along with being a motivating team player with strong communication abilities.
• Proficient in both English and German.
• Good presentation and content creation skills.
• Open to taking on administrative tasks as required.
