CLUSTER DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING

The Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport (255 Rooms) and Hyatt Place Zurich Airport (300 Rooms) are located just steps from the terminals and within the dynamic “Circle” district. Integrated within The Circle’s vibrant ecosystem of retail, dining, and the Convention Center (17 Meeting Rooms + Convention Hall accommodating up to 1,500 persons), this dual-hotel cluster stands as one of Hyatt’s most prominent showcases in Europe.

As the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, you will lead the commercial strategy for our hotels and Convention Center (2,800m²), driving performance, brand positioning, and market share growth. Your team will comprise over 20 talented professionals across Sales, Marketing, Event Sales, and Event Planning.

What You Will Do:

  • Define and execute the overall commercial strategy across both hotels and the Circle Convention Center.
  • Lead all Sales & Marketing operations with a focus on revenue optimization, brand visibility, and guest loyalty.
  • Develop and deliver annual business plans, forecasts, and budgets aligned with Hyatt’s global standards and ownership expectations.
  • Oversee strategic account management within corporate, MICE, airline, and leisure segments.
  • Foster collaboration with regional commercial teams and ownership partners to ensure alignment on performance goals.
  • Coach, inspire, and develop a high-performing commercial team, empowering future leaders through mentorship, accountability, and recognition.
  • Champion digital innovation and storytelling, amplifying the Hyatt brand through social media, PR, and partnerships.
  • Enhance the customer journey through service excellence, consistent quality, and a culture of care that sets Hyatt apart.

What We Are Looking For:

You are a strategic, entrepreneurial leader with a passion for people and performance. You combine strong analytical skills with creativity and the ability to inspire teams. In addition, you possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior commercial leadership role (DOSM or equivalent) in an international hotel or cluster environment.
  • A proven track record in driving market share, revenue growth, and brand positioning.
  • Experience managing large-scale event space and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in German highly preferred.
  • A collaborative, data-driven, and commercially curious approach, with a leadership style that energizes others.
