Are you a procurement professional who excels at driving results? We are seeking a CAPEX & Indirect Category Procurement Manager to oversee substantial spend in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role demands an individual who can challenge suppliers, influence stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and deliver measurable savings.

Your Responsibilities

• Own and develop CAPEX and indirect procurement categories
• Lead strategic sourcing, tender processes, and competitive RFPs
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and service agreements
• Manage and nurture strategic supplier relationships
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Maintenance, and other stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, cost avoidance, and value enhancement
• Lead CAPEX procurement from specification through supplier selection and implementation
• Challenge existing supply arrangements and foster greater commercial discipline
• Develop category strategies and implement procurement improvement initiatives
• Monitor supplier performance, contracts, KPIs, and savings
• Support wider procurement transformation and continuous improvement

What We Are Looking For

You will likely have a background in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, or another asset-intensive environment, with proven experience in CAPEX and indirect procurement. More importantly, you must be commercially astute, capable of engaging effectively with engineers and operational stakeholders while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

CIPS or equivalent procurement qualifications would be advantageous, as well as experience with ERP/procurement systems and structured sourcing methodologies.
