Your Role

Are you passionate about shaping the future of wealth management through digital transformation and AI? Do you envision playing an integral part in driving strategic projects and contributing to our GWM AI & digital transformation roadmap globally? We’re looking for a business strategist to:

  • Develop and implement business strategies aligned with GWM objectives and the Group’s AI vision, driving growth and profitability.
  • Lead strategic roadmap development and delivery governance, ensuring robust frameworks for project execution and stakeholder alignment.
  • Use data and analytics to inform decision-making, leveraging insights from APAC and global competitive landscapes to evaluate performance.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships, including direct engagement with external FinTechs and internal business sectors, to accelerate digital transformation initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration, working across multiple locations and cultures while managing a diverse range of stakeholders (e.g. business, risk, and senior management).
  • Effectively communicate strategies and recommendations both internally and externally.

Your Team

You’ll be working in the Digital Transformation team within the Front-to-back Digitalization (F2BD) function in GWM COO, based in Zurich, Switzerland. The Digital Transformation team is the centralized function driving the AI and transformation agenda for GWM globally, with mandates across strategy & partnership, delivery management, AI adoption & change management, and team & capabilities development.

Your Expertise

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a business strategist or in digital transformation-related roles, ideally with deep expertise in wealth management.
  • Cross-cultural exposure and experience working across locations, with a proven ability to manage and align a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior management and risk functions.
  • Proven ability to establish and manage cross-functional project governance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with integrating a multi-disciplinary approach to drive innovation and AI adoption.
  • Strong partnership experience, including direct collaboration with external FinTechs and internal business sectors to launch new digital offerings and strategic AI initiatives.
  • Experience in designing and driving strategic offsite objectives and deliverables, defining transformation roadmaps, and leading them through to execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across functions and regions.
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional Asian language.
