This role welcomes candidates with backgrounds in AI/Analytics or Data Engineering/Data Platforms. During the interview process, we will assess your fit within one of these specialized teams.

We also encourage applications from trainees with limited work experience, provided they can commit to full-time work (not returning to school). After 4-6 months in a trainee capacity, we will re-evaluate your readiness for a Business Analyst role.

We are currently offering start dates from February 2026.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Design and implement data strategies and modern data solutions, including data management, platforms, and AI use cases, to help clients meet their business objectives.
• Provide architectural, technical, and organizational thought leadership to guide complex data and analytics transformations.
• Drive Data & AI use cases from conceptualization to production.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships through project delivery and business development.
• Support business development initiatives to generate new projects.
• Serve as a role model, demonstrating strong work ethic, leadership, and subject matter expertise.
• Continuously enhance your knowledge across industries and share insights within Deloitte.

Consulting and Communication Skills:

• Excellent writing and Microsoft PowerPoint skills to create impactful presentations.
• Strong conceptual abilities to consolidate diverse requirements into coherent solution designs.
• Business-IT Translator: Acting as the bridge between business needs and technical solutions.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to communicate technical specifics clearly in both written and oral forms.

Technical Expertise:

• Practical experience in data management, data platforms, or AI & analytics solutions is highly recommended.
• Familiarity with SQL and Python is preferable.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including Large Language Models (LLMs), is an advantage.
• Knowledge of data platform tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku) and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) is beneficial.
• A strong engineering or mathematics background is advantageous.

Language Proficiency:

• Fluent English; proficiency in German and/or French is preferred.

Industry Experience:

• Relevant experience in consulting, technology companies, or industry-specific roles, especially in AI & data-driven fields.
• Previous experience in the Banking, Insurance, Life Sciences, or Healthcare sectors is advantageous.
