The Position

As the Associate Vice President, Commercial Transformation, you will:

  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation through the implementation and evolution of next-generation CMR platforms.
  • Drive innovation in customer engagement solutions by leveraging data, analytics, and digital technologies to improve impact and efficiency.
  • Develop comprehensive multichannel strategies to enhance HCP engagement and digital enablement while transforming Marketing, Medical, and Regulatory processes.
  • Set strategic direction and drive transformation initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure commercial execution excellence within the team and build enterprise capabilities to execute the commercial transformation agenda efficiently across all levels.
  • Lead sales planning and channel definition, guiding segmentation, channel optimization, and sales force effectiveness.
  • Represent the function in executive forums to influence strategic decisions aligned with organizational objectives.

This position is based in Zürich, Switzerland.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial marketing, business transformation, or related fields.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale commercial strategies and transformation, as well as driving business growth.
  • Experience in digital transformation initiatives, including CRM implementation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Solid expertise in market research, product management, and promotional campaign development.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics, AI tools, and agile methodologies.
  • Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams in complex stakeholder landscapes in the pharmaceutical industry and consumer healthcare.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing external partnerships.
  • A master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

The position is part of the IO-SO Medical, Marketing & Regulatory team, based in International Operations.
