On behalf of one of our clients, we are seeking a Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) (M/F) for an 80% - 100% position. This role is a temporary replacement for 1 to 3 months within the field of psycho-geriatric care.
Your Future Responsibilities
- Conduct therapeutic interviews to build strong relationships with adults experiencing various psychological disorders, utilizing conversational techniques and other appropriate therapeutic tools.
- Support residents with daily living activities, ensuring comfort care and performing somatic care, including dressings and other technical procedures.
- Manage crisis situations effectively by providing immediate and appropriate support to residents in challenging phases.
- Act as a trusted partner for communication with relatives and families, ensuring smooth and reassuring updates regarding the residents' progress.
Your Profile
- Possess a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as an ASSC.
- Have experience in psycho-geriatric care and a comfort level in working with individuals suffering from psychological disorders.
- Demonstrate calmness, rigor, and empathy, especially during crisis situations and mental health challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining constant communication for optimal support.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with patients and their families.
