Join Our Nautical Team as a 1st Captain

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises proudly operates a fleet of eleven intimate, boutique river cruise ships navigating the picturesque European waterways, exclusively catering to English-speaking clients. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our Nautical Team in the role of:

Responsibilities

• Navigating the ship in accordance with company guidelines and safety regulations
• Ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew on board
• Overseeing the maintenance of our ships during the sailing season and winter period
• Professionally managing the Nautical Team
• Facilitating communication on board with the Hotel Manager and Cruise Manager

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role on the Rhine-Main-Danube
• Experience with Z-Drive systems is a plus, but not mandatory
• Possession of a license for the Rhine up to Mainz and/or the Danube
• An innovative, flexible, and proactive leader who is a strong team player
• Fluent in German and/or English with effective communication skills
• Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A willingness to learn and grow in your role
