Role Overview

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising a team of warehouse operatives, and ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of goods from receipt through to dispatch. This role requires maintaining high operational standards while taking a hands-on approach and working alongside the team when necessary.

Key Requirements

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively
• A hands-on approach with a willingness to work alongside the team during operational peaks or as needed
• Solid understanding of warehouse processes, including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices within a warehouse environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Confidence in using IT systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing operational demands
• Experience in a technical or engineering-related product environment (e.g., heating, cooling, renewable energy, or electrical equipment)
• Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH preferred)
• Forklift licence or experience operating material handling equipment (MHE)

Salary & Benefits

• Rotating shift pattern (6:00 am - 10:00 pm coverage)
• Competitive salary of £35,000 per annum
