Position: Upper Primary Homeroom Teacher
We are looking for an enthusiastic Upper Primary Homeroom Teacher who will inspire curiosity, relational learning, academic growth, and transferable competencies in our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Nurture a welcoming environment where upper primary learners feel known, valued, and empowered to explore complex concepts.
- Transform natural student curiosity into meaningful growth through project-based learning (PBL), interdisciplinary approaches, and authentic assessments.
- Support multilingual students and promote intercultural understanding in alignment with our commitment to global citizenship.
- Create safe and inviting daily routines in the studio and classroom that enhance emotional wellbeing, student agency, and clear expectations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in upper primary learning environments, including project-based learning, interdisciplinary units, and authentic assessments.
- Profound understanding of upper primary child development, relational learning, and social-emotional growth (SEL).
- Proven ability to cultivate strong, transparent partnerships with parents regarding student progress and wellbeing.
- Skilled in supporting non-native English speakers (EAL/multilingualism) and celebrating linguistic diversity.
- Relational practitioner committed to fostering inclusive and safe classroom cultures.
- Flexible, adaptive, and collaborative in everyday classroom leadership.
