The Position

We are looking for a talented and experienced Grade 6 teacher who can engage and inspire students through their passion and professional expertise. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Upper Primary and Lower Secondary, with a specialization in English and Humanities/Social Studies. They should be adaptable and enthusiastic about collaborating with a team of dynamic, professional educators to plan, deliver, and assess a learner-centered curriculum within a diverse international school environment.

Teachers at ZIS maintain high expectations for students, embody a mentor mindset, and are comfortable differentiating content and instruction across all courses.

Requirements

Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience teaching this age group, ideally in an international school setting. For non-Swiss/EU applicants, extensive international experience is mandatory.
